Stir Fried Beef Fillet

Ingredients (A)

50g        Idaman Suri Rendang base

300ml    Water

70ml      Cooking oil

 

Ingredients (C)

10g       Oyster sauce

5g         Sugar

 

Set Aside

     a) Marination

           500g        Beef fillet (shredded

           10g          Corn starch

            5g           Soya sauce

    b) 200ml      Cooking oil* (for stir fry beef fillet)

 

Others

4 cloves     Garlic (finely chopped)

100g          Chinese cabbage stem (shredded)

100g          Carrot (shredded)

50g            Spring onion (cut into 2” length)

2 nos        Red chili (shredded)

 

COOKING METHOD

  1. Marinade beef fillet with corn starch, soya sauce and quickly stir fry in hot oil for 1 minute. Strain and remove excess oil. Set aside.
  2. Mix Ingredients (A) well and cooking oil into a wok/pan. Stir until water evaporates and oil rises to the top.  
  3. Add garlic chopped and stir fry until fragrant again. Add chinese cabbage stem and carrot. Toss well. Add Ingredients (C) and stir well.

      4. Lastly, stir in beef fillet, red chili and spring onion. Toss well and ready to serve.
